The Muddy Muse Studio is a retail art and pottery gallery with paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, handmade soaps and toys by local artisans.  In addition, our shop is home to  an arts exploration space for children and their families.  We host our creative arts classes out of our quaint studio in the antiques and arts district at 616 unit B Castle Street in Wilmington NC. The space is equipped  with a fully open studio that features tables, easels, a  slab roller, pottery wheel, kiln  and space where even the youngest artists can work and play. Surrounding shelves are always stocked with paint, papers, objects from nature, recycled tidbits and an array of other art mediums.  We encourage students  to explore dramatic arts, music and movement, and shelves loaded with toys to encourage creative play.  Our experienced staff of artists and  teachers are on hand to help guide children and adults through creative projects.  The Muddy Muse studio is a place for all ages to develop confidence in expressing and messing as they create art pieces that convey their own uniqueness. We are also available and offer affordable music and art classes that come to you.
